My mission is to build ZLCOPENHAGEN at the intersection of design, culture and production — combining Danish precision with Punjabi soul.
I believe good design should bring together aesthetics, function and an understanding of how products are made. What began with menswear and product design has gradually developed into a broader interest in materials, production processes and responsible manufacturing.
Today, my background as a designer and my studies in Production Engineering at DTU allow me to approach ZLCOPENHAGEN from both sides: the creative idea and the systems that turn an idea into a physical product.
DESIGN WITH PURPOSE
ZLCOPENHAGEN is built around the idea that clothing can do more than simply cover the body. Design can create confidence, express identity and connect people with culture, craftsmanship and ideas.
For me, masculinity is not defined by dominance over others. Strength can exist alongside empathy, curiosity and respect. That idea continues to influence the way I think about menswear and the identity of ZLCOPENHAGEN.
FROM DESIGN TO PRODUCTION
The future of ZLCOPENHAGEN is not only about designing products. It is also about understanding how they can be produced better.
My work increasingly connects design with materials, production systems, Lean, quality, sustainability and supply chains. This creates a bridge between my background in design and my current work in Production Engineering.
THE VISION
My vision is for ZLCOPENHAGEN to continue evolving beyond a traditional fashion brand — into a platform where design, engineering, culture and responsible production can meet.
Looking ahead, I want to strengthen the connection between Denmark and Pakistan through design, product development, sourcing and manufacturing. My Danish-Punjabi background gives me a personal connection to both worlds, while my work in design and Production Engineering provides the foundation for understanding both the creative and technical sides of production.
ZLCOPENHAGEN will continue to evolve, but the foundation remains the same: curiosity, independence and the belief that creativity and technical knowledge are stronger when they work together.
