BESPOKE SUITS IN COPENHAGEN – A PERSONAL APPROACH
A suit starts with you: your proportions, your preferences and the way you want to wear it. I’m Zahid Latif, a Danish-Pakistani designer and founder of ZLCOPENHAGEN. I offer exclusive personal tailoring commissions through partners in Denmark and Pakistan, combining design advice with practical knowledge of materials, construction and fit.
Whether you are considering a wedding suit, a three-piece suit or an individual tailoring project, we begin with a conversation about your requirements, budget and timeline.
HOW MUCH DOES A BESPOKE SUIT COST?
An exclusive three-piece commission comprising a jacket, waistcoat and trousers can reach the DKK 100,000 price range. This is an indication rather than a fixed starting price. Your quotation depends on fabric, construction, design and the scope of the personal service.
Materials, fittings, alterations, delivery and any additional expenses are clarified before you place an order.
BESPOKE OR MADE TO MEASURE?
Bespoke tailoring uses an individual pattern developed for the client, with fit refined through fittings during construction. Made to measure adapts an existing base pattern to the client’s measurements.
We agree on the manufacturing method, available adjustments and fitting arrangements for your commission. Your body does not need to meet a particular ideal: the aim is to shape the clothing around you.
FROM COPENHAGEN TO LAHORE
My background includes clothing design studies at Danmarks Designskole and additional garment construction training at Københavns Tilskærer Akademi in 2004.
For my 2008 graduation project, Twisted Suits, I worked with tailors at Dandy Designs in Lahore, exploring classic menswear, sporty details and reversed constructions. That experience continues to inform my approach to silhouette, materials and production.

PERSONAL CONSULTATION OR A TAILORING JOURNEY
A commission can begin with consultation and measurements in Copenhagen, with production handled by an agreed tailoring partner. Fittings, quality checks and delivery are planned individually.
I also offer a personal tailoring journey to Pakistan for no more than one participant per year, combining meetings with tailors, fabric markets and local culture. Dates, itinerary and travel expenses are agreed separately.
