Sometimes, the most powerful messages are hidden in plain sight, nestled within the meanings of words we think we understand. Take “Hamas,” for example—a word that, in English, translates to “Zeal.” Dig into any dictionary, and you’ll find that zeal represents a fiery enthusiasm or eagerness to act, especially for causes close to one’s heart. It’s about channelling intense energy and dedication towards achieving goals, supporting a cause, or participating in an activity with unwavering commitment.
WHO SHOULD EMBRACE THIS COLLECTION—AND WHY?
This collection is for anyone with a heart for justice and a spirit that echoes support. If you’re driven by hope, imbued with strength, and steadfast in the face of adversity, these pieces speak to you. Originally named “I Refuse to Sink,” this collection, from my lens as both a designer and a human deeply moved by the plight for justice, serves as my voice in the chorus calling for change. Provocation isn’t my aim—expression is. This small drop in the ocean of advocacy is my contribution, and I stand to lose nothing but my silence.
