Therefore our underwear waistband elastic is made of up to 30 procent post consumer recycled nylon. Nylon is a thermoplastic material, and just like other plastic, it can be recycled easily.

Nylon was the world’s first synthetic fiber, was invented by Wallace Carothers in 1935, and always considered a smoother and softer fabric than polyester. Nylon was created as a substitute for silk and it shows in its soft and lustrous feel and matches the softness of cotton.

The performance waistband is soft and comfortable to the skin and only made of nylon, and not polyester. Our waistband is the most soft material compare with other material, and is durable, not easy to be deformed. Nylon is a easy-care fabrics that can be machine washed and dried, though low heat is recommended.
