FRA TEKSTILSPILD TIL DESIGN MED FORM\u00c5L<\/h2>\n

Hos ZLC arbejder vi med at give nyt liv til det, andre kalder affald. Vores kollektioner tager udgangspunkt i tekstilspild fra t\u00f8jproduktion og bygger p\u00e5 viden fra DTU\u2019s materiale- og produktionsinnovation, kombineret med \u00e6stetisk formgivning fra KADK. Vi tror p\u00e5, at b\u00e6redygtighed starter i designprocessen \u2013 og at affald kan v\u00e6re et v\u00e6rdifuldt r\u00e5materiale, hvis det behandles ansvarligt.<\/p>\n

Vidste du, at kun 1 % af alt tekstilaffald<\/a> i Europa bliver genanvendt til nye tekstiler? Derfor arbejder vi med regenererede materialer som ECONYL\u00ae<\/a>, der fremstilles af gamle fiskenet og industriaffald. Det anvender vi blandt andet i vores b\u00e6redygtige badet\u00f8j<\/a>, hvor funktion, holdbarhed og ansvar g\u00e5r h\u00e5nd i h\u00e5nd.<\/p>\n

TOXIC BY DESIGN<\/h3>\n

Alt for mange t\u00f8jstykker produceres, k\u00f8bes og kasseres uden at den reelle pris bliver betalt. Omkostningen flyttes fra produktet til planetens ressourcer \u2013 og til mennesker i globale produktionsk\u00e6der, hvor arbejdsvilk\u00e5r og l\u00f8n ofte ikke st\u00e5r m\u00e5l med den v\u00e6rdi, der skabes.<\/p>\n

Tekstilindustrien genererer affald hvert eneste sekund. De langsigtede milj\u00f8m\u00e6ssige og sociale konsekvenser sendes videre til kommende generationer, mens systemet forts\u00e6tter u\u00e6ndret. Hvis ressourceforbruget forts\u00e6tter i samme tempo, udfordres de levevilk\u00e5r, vi i dag tager for givet.<\/p>\n

Derfor arbejder vi med ansvarlige forretningsmodeller, dokumenteret materialevalg og livscyklust\u00e6nkning. CSR er ikke et slogan, men et ansvar for b\u00e5de produktion, forbrug og det affald, der opst\u00e5r undervejs.<\/p>\n
